Please ensure that the renter (applicant) performs the rental
procedure in person at the Pickup Branch. Persons other than the
renter (applicant) cannot perform the rental procedure. Incidentally,
passengers that possess a valid Japanese driving license can also
drive the rental car.
To drive in Japan, you must possess at least one of the following licenses:
1) An International Driving Permit that complies with the Geneva Convention
on Road Traffic, and the Driver's License from your own country
2) Citizens of Taiwan, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France and Belgium can
bring the Driver's License from your own country, as well as a Japanese
translation provided by the government approved authority
